Roy, great pictures! Too bad you couldn’t record the good natured banter on the porch between the pros and the amateurs. Donna and I were among the latter, evidenced by her newly painted shoe.
We joined LYC for more than a restaurant and a view. Expanding our horizon was the goal, and being greeted in the R and R room by familiar faces is indeed worth the dues. Those faces become familiar through proactive engagement, and we look forward to the next chance to meet new and existing friends. Newly met
Phil’s last words to us were…”See you at dinner next weekend”.
LY.C is a sailing club. But this non – sailor has become a true fan through patrolling the Sunday Series. I encourage any new or existing member to reach out to Jim Walsh for details on patrol, and also encourage folks to join “The Groupers” on your next service/social adventure.

What’s the saying? It takes a village…
What a fun way for some of the LYC “villagers” to help improve the condition of our beloved Club!! (Thankfully Mother Nature cooperated too 😊.)
It’s was indeed fun to see old friends and meet new ones. We had lots of laughs and a great sense of satisfaction for a job well done! Looking forward to seeing what’s next and hoping more of you will join us in the future!
